How to reset EVO ONE Remote starter and alarm bypass module using FLASH LINK UPDATER and a computer to factory default. I already tried to push program botton while connecting it to the flash link wait for red light and push again until the three lights alternate, but the Remote start side it's not responding to the flash link anymore, only the bypass side, I need to do a factory Reset to see if it works.

Thanks.

The correct way to reset the "remote-starter" side is by using the valet switch in the vehicle to function 23.

Resetting the module by using the Flashlink Manager/Flashlink Updater does not reset the functions to the default settings but instead reset them all to mode 1, which is not how it's supposed to be and may cause more issues with your installation.

The procedure you described above should be done in the vehicle:

" I already tried to push program botton while connecting it to the flash link wait for red light and push again until the three lights alternate"

not at the computer unless you are familiar on how to set the correct connection mode:

Please follow the reset procedure in the paper guide that came with the Evo-One.

Thank you,

I cannot connect it to the vehicle, because sonnest I connect the six pin harness from the evo one to the vehicle the car lights and engine start going on then off quickly and it will not stop until I disconnect it. I am thinking that I got a faulty unit. I was hoping that if I do some kind of reset may work. I checked my connections to make sure and this is what I have: with car off I get current on red wire, with accesorie on get current on Red, Pink and Orange, with car running get current on Red,Pink and orange, when push the start get current on the yellow.

thank you.
