Stand Alone Mode.

I received this EVO ALL for a gift. after buying the t harness for my 2011 chevy cruze and tearing the dash apart to get to the ignition switch, I started the programming . I cannot get this to get past the 5 seconds or less part of the programming. After reading up on this , I noticed that I have to buy a Flash Link and set this unit to stand alone , So, more stuff I have to buy?? This is really difficult and I don't reccomend this EVO ALL unit to anyone . the instructions are difficullt to understand. I already bought a T harness and was thinking of just selling all of this and taking my car somewhere to have a starter installed.

anyone want to buy this EVO ALL Firmware 4.18 and a THAR-GM1 harness? CHEAP.

The T-harness that they sent you is not the right one for the firmware that you currently have on you EVO.

The THAR-GM1 is only compatible with firmwares 4.06 or less.

The THAR-GM1v2 is the one that the eBay guy should of sent out. This is properly indicated on our website to use the THAR-GM1v2. http://ifar.ca/en/vehicles/chevrolet/cruze/2012/

Personally, i would contact the eBay guy and get the right stuff for your car. Also make sure that he updates the unit for you and also activates the Stand Alone feature.

CHEAP

I don't think so.
