nescessary connections for just remote start using factory key only

hello, i'm a bit confussed about all the connections /optional etc and what all is nescessary just to achieve what im wanting. I have a 2014 Ford explorer and am wanting to take advantage of the {lock*3} remote start only. I see connections for hood pins / lock /unlock and others can you let  me know what all is nescessary for just using the factory key to remote start the vehicle? or are is that the minimum when i select the standalone diagram?

i saw a video from mpc that uses this kit and it seems like he only uses the fort1 kit and maybe 2 other wires. is this another kit?

Hood pin is a safety feature and should be installed.

lock, unlock, parking light, driver doorpin and not required to remote start but they are convenience features.
