Is there special wiring needed to have Passlock II bypassed for starting with a key.   Will the wirning in the directrions also bypass for key starts.   98 Blazer

Hi Steven,

If your vehicle still starts with the key it may be possible, but only if the issue is in the Passlock II barrel.

If the problem comes from the vehicle's BCM then there is no fix for this other then going to a GM dealer.
