2006 Ford Freestyle Lock Negative Pulse Wire

+1 vote
- I installed a remote start system in my wifes freestyle succesfully with one issue.  The negative lock pulse required to initiate a remote start is supposed to be on the PINK / YELLOW wire at SJB Blue connector according to the diagrams purchased here.  This wire only seems to pull negative when the door keypad or door lock buttons call for lock.  The keyfob "lock" button does not pull this wire low.  My wife didn't like it when I told her she had to run outside and lock the door 3 times to remote start the car.  What is the correct wire color for a keyfob negative lock signal?

- Just a note:  The diagram purchased  here on wirecolor.com also had an incorrect location for the OEM Disarm wire on the freestyle.  The pictures and wiring info show a Light Blue / Black in the SJB blue connector but the wire does not exist on my 2006 Freestyle Limited.  I found the wire in the driver kick panel but it definately does not show up in the SJB blue connector.

I'm a little frustrated that I had to pay for mis-information.

you will have to use the Pink/black lock motor wire and use a relay to invert the + from the lock motor to the negative pulse you need

Thanks so much for your answer!  I was digging thru the harness last night and found the Pink/Black.  I was bummed when I realized it was a positive signal.  The meter I have at home was moving to slow to get a good voltage reading.  I'm assuming this is the 12VDC wire going out to the lock motor.  I'll pick up a relay today.  Thanks again!
