No blue LED flashing during programming / Check Engine light after remote start / Grand Cherokee 2015 PTS Diesel

Question

Tried to install Evo-All with THAR-CHR6 on my Grand Cherokee 2015 PTS. 

Q1: Is it necessary to connect the Purple door pin and White-Green parking lights? I didn't because Parking lights connector hadn't a white/green but a white/grey on position 1, and on the left driver kick panel side there two harnesses with connectors with several purple cables.  If Yes, what is the function of the parking light and door pin connection? Is there a way to check (upfront with multimeter) which purple cable I should connect to?

Q2: Without the two connections mentioned above I did the programming which went ok until step 10. The blue LED did not start to flash, but stayed on. I crosschecked the CAN connections which are ok.

The doorpin connection is for rap shutdown (turn off the radio when you stop the vehicle with the EVOALL). If not connected your vehicle will turn off radio after 45 sec (default) which is not a big deal.

The parking light connection is only to turn on the lights when the engine is running and is not mandatory.

Did you connect the yellow wire (ignition) from the 20 pin connector to the grey connector in the kickpanel ? Verify this connection. The wire should test 12v with ignition ON and 0v with ignition OFF.

That was the fault. Now it starts perfectly. everything seems working. Many thnx.

BUT.. check engine light goes on every time I do a remote start. I can clear the error with an OBD scanner, but it comes back - after the next remote start. 

Regular push-to-start works without triggering the checkengine light. 

Seems I'm not the only one - found this , but this Q is missing the answer.

Please flash to the latest firmware 74.24 then hook up the green/red (A18) in the 20 pin connector to the Green/Brown on the Brake Pedal switch ( you can test this wire, it should show voltage when brake is pressed) It might be easier to unclip the actual brake switch to connect your wire.

So, finally it works without any faults. Thanks for support!

One remark to the Brake Pedal connection: In my GC the connector has three wires 1 x green/yellow, 2 x green/black. The green/yellow one has +5V when ignition is on. You have to check which one of the green/black ones will have +5V when you press the pedal. BUT the connection from the Evo has to be hooked to the OTHER green/black one which won't change/keeps 0V after brake pedal press.
