2006 Ram diesel intake heater (glow plug) monitoring

0 votes
Does the Evo-All have the ability to monitor the intake heater (glow plug) for remote starting?  I see that I can set it for diesel mode, which would then delay the start signal for 0/10/20 seconds, but would rather just have it start as soon as the light in the dash turns off if possible.  Thank you!

Detecting glow plugs through data is not available in those years. In the newer RAM trucks, glow plugs are monitored through Can-Bus.

The EVO-ALL stand alone starter feature has a fixed time of about 10 or 20 seconds, i forget which.

The EVO-ONE has programmable option of 0-10-20 seconds.

If you want to be able to monitor directly the glow plugs. You would need a remote starter brain with an analog glow plug input; you would still need the EVO-ALL afterwards for transponder bypass. We do not have a remote starter with an analog glow plug input so some internet researching will be necessary.
