when programing keys

when programing keys and you push program button it turns on ignition red lite blinks 10 times and goes out but ignition stays on and nothing else happens...
related to an answer for: Does anyone now where I can get rid of a evo-all with the ford T harness and the flash link updater

Your can high and can low connections are wrong or not connected at all. Verify those connections.
