Is it possible to remove key from ignition and vehicle continues to run.

Does this system allow me to leave the vehicle running, but take my keys with me? All without shutting the vehicle off and then restarting it with the remote start.

Technically, if activating the starter while the vehicle is running should allow the vehicle to stay running after removing the key. This is really dependant on vehicle make, model, year and what products are being installed in the vehicle..

Robert is correct...

With the vehicle running, activate the starter as you would if you were remote starting the car. The car should unlock and I think flash the parking lights. You can now turn the ignition to the off position and the car should remain running...you can now remove the key.

If you have a FlashLink2, you can adjust settings that correspond with this feature such as how you activate this mode(one option is: with all doors closed, hold brake pedal - then engage parking brake - then release brake pedal...doors will unlock to confirm idle mode).
