EVO-ONE 20 Pin Connector Wiring Diagram In Detail

0 votes
I can't find in any of your prints or guides, the EVO-One 20 pin connector wiring diagram with every wire identified. I can only find them partially identified depending on the vehicle. The guide that came with the module and vehicle specific guide # 18861 for a 2013 Toyota Tacoma are also lacking the complete wiring. According to guide # 18861, are these the only wires that need to be connected or do you also need to connect the IMO and IMI wires from the red plug to the ECM? Also the vehicle specific wirecolor.com guide has the colors and connectors located in the vehicle but it does not have the colors of the 20 pin connector on the EVO-one.

60% of the wires from the 20-pin are vehicle specific. In most cases you will only be following the vehicle specific guide found on the website and not the guide in the box. The EVO-ONE is intended for professionals whom already know basic functions of a remote starter.

If you look at guide 18861 on the first page, you will see that for that vehicle, the bypass part of the EVO-ONE does transponder, foot brake, and tachometer. Connections found in the installation on page 2 will be all that is required for remote starting the car. If you want to hook up door locks, the guide in the box does say that the purple and purple/white wires are for lock and unlock control..

Wirecolor is generic vehicle information and not specific to a certain product. Too many different types of installation exists.
