2016 Mustang Push to Start No Crank No Start Condition

Question

Installed Evo One w/ THAR-FOR3 in accordance with guidelines online. Car can start normally with the normal clutch, brake, and push to start, but will not work with remote start. I tried flashing it 2-3 times over again to make sure all is well, and nothing changed. When car is running, solid yellow is illuminated. When lock x3 is initiated with car off and all doors closed, only blue blinks (no reds after, no matter how many times I try locking). I also tried lock, unlock, lock, but nothing happened either. The app is also not working when I try to input the SN on the back of the device. Please help, thanks!

Hello,

What is the S/N number to the unit?

Does the vehicle go into ready mode?

Did you connect both the clutch and the brake or just the clutch?

Good morning sir,

The SN is: 002B04 710520

The vehicle does not go into ready mode after putting the transmission into neutral and throwing on the handbrake. I tried this after driving around for a little to test it out. There are no signs of it going into "ready mode", but if there should be signs, what would happen? Would the hazards flash?

The wiring diagram (on page 4) only calls for the clutch to be connected to the blue wire with the 2 diodes, so that is all that I did.

Was the yellow loop cut?

Is there a red led on solid underneath the yellow loop?

Only variance for you is being a pts vehicle dont worry about turning a key or pressing the pts button.

No, the yellow loop is intact.

No, there is not any led under the yellow wire loop.

I tried driving around and setting the car into ready mode in that order, but it seems to not be working for me. There is no indication that it is being put into ready mode. I try to remote start the car every time, and it won't work, but I see the blue LED's flashing when I lock/unlock the car. When running normally and not remote starting the vehicle, a solid yellow appears.

You can try calling the tech support line and having an agent go through ready mode in the vehicle with you.
