The vehicle is only unlocked for 48 hrs once the key is used.

What vehicle was this for?

I have the same issue for 16 dodge caravan. When I got it in the mail there were no instructions but a card with a qr label. I scanned the card and glanced at the material noticing there were 5 different install instructions and none specified 20016 for the year only up to 20014 so I figured on the weekend (3days later) I would look into it more. The only expiration date I've seen is on the card 2017-12-01 it never stated to me WARNING THIS INFORMATION IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR 48 HOURS HOPE THAT'S LONG ENOUGH FOR YOU TO GET IT.

That is completely stupid!!! It is just a way to force you to pay for it again! The same thing happened to me, no notice that it was only good for 48 hours.

There is a notice, and a timer. If you send an email to support@fortin.ca, we can send you the the info from wirecolor in pdf format. If it is only the install guide that you need, you can find it on fortin.ca without login..
