nissan pts standalone and smart start

Question

So im installing a smart start with a evo all stand alone in a 2013 murano. I have 2 questions. 1: do i have to hook up the lock out outs from the smart start to the evo then pin the evo lock wires to the bcm? 2: will the evo pop the liftgate through data when using the smart start??

for Q1 : you want to hook up the locks from the evo to the vehicle. The smart start should be telling the evo through DATALINK to lock and unlock.

for Q2 : the evo-all unfortunately has no dedicated trunk output and on this vehicle, trunk release cannot be controlled through the Can-Bus.
