EVO-ONE FLASH LIMIT REACHED

0 votes
I was trying to troubleshoot why my evo-one unit would not let me into the remote starter options, I have the flasher unit, and I can get into the bypass module and options fine but once I click on toggle the screen just hangs. I've tried, everything I can think of, unplugging the unit from the flasher, from the PC, restarting the application, and even rebooting the PC but it's always the same. Once I click on the toggle button, I hear the flasher click and the app just acts like nothing is plugged to the flasher.

and now....

After a few attempts at trying different firmware I'm now getting a flash limit exceeded message, I don't understand why these attempts count towards the limit as I'm trying to troubleshoot.

Can you please tell me how this can be resolved?

thanks,

angelo

First thing, do not click on toggle when a module is connected to the Flashlink Updater-2.

Second thing, please send an email to support@ifar.ca with the modules service number, location, shop name, and reason for the locked module.

Thanks, rico, just sent the email.

How do you access the remote options without hitting the toggle switch? Also I'm not sure what you mean as to the reason for "locked module" I think that's what I'm trying to find out. I'm not sure why it's "locked" this was purchased recently and I was trying to update the crank time to prevent the starter from griding, but now the module doesn't even allow me to view/set options.

Thanks again
