2008 Toyota Yaris without transponder

0 votes

Hi guys. As you can see, I am trying to install an EVO ONE with KIT RFK411. I already have all the installation done but I have not been able to carry out the programming since this car does not have a TRANSPONDER. I am using this schematic: evo-one_ig_reg_bi_toy-yaris_2006_wokl_a_104141.pdf

Can you tell me what I should modify in the firmware, what programming should I do and what do I do with the TRANSPONDER connections? Thank you very much in advance.

The vehicle must be automatic transmission.

Then youl would simply turn on 20.2 in the remote starter.

program your rf kit https://fortin.ca/download/68771/rfk411-install-guide-68771.pdf

at that point it should work since everything is a hard wired connection in this vehicle and it has no chip in the key.

Yes, I know how to programm the rf kit. I mean, what programation I have to use for the EVO ONE? Or just I have to ignore the programation in the EVO ONE and ignore the TRANPONDER conection as well? Just I have to modify the option 20.2 and proced with the RF programation, right?
load any firmware you want into the bypass.

Could it be a problem with the starter motor now? I already increased the crank time and with the key it starts correctly although sometimes it feels a bit heavy to start. What do you think?
Verify you have powered the ignition switch properly.

If it still just cranks I would think the vehicle has a transponder in that case.
I am going to check one more time but I think all the wiring it's correct. If it's has Transponder, where is it? Cuz near the ignition switch isn't.
verify you are powering 2 ignitions and 1 starter wire.
Hi Derek the order of the ignition matter? Look what I found. I think that I found the mistake. What do you think? Compare the original scheme with this picture.

yes the order matters.

be sure you power the 2 ignitions and the starter or the vehicle may not remote start.
Then you must to correct the scheme. I am going to connect the ignition wires in the correct order and I will let you know Friday afternoon.

Done! Thanks you very much Derek, excellent support from you and the person who emailed me anonymously. Again thank you very much.

PD: Now you can close this post.
Thank you and happy that you got it going.

Best Regards.
